The purpose.....just like in anything in life, there has to be a purpose for what you are doing. Having and riding horses is the same. Are you wanting to be able to do performance events, halter or just ride down the road? Do you want finesse control or just be able to be around your horse safely? Most of the horse loving public just wants to be able to be around their horse and feel safe.
My purpose is to teach horsemanship and lean toward doing it naturally.....I will teach you how to be safe around your horse and how to have a natural relationship. As I have heard before "there are a lot of ways to do something with a horse, but only a few of them are good for the horse". I feel the same way about teaching people horsemanship....there are a lot of ways, but only a few are good for the person. It all starts with confidence, you build that on the ground. Everything you work on on the ground with a horse will transfer to something your going to do on their back.
As I progress with this blog, I will be talking about my philosphy with horses and life in general.
In addition, people who have horses with me, will be able to see and read about the progress thier horse is making. So, please keep reading!
